You're from Scotland, right? And you don't think September 11, 2001 is significant.

"sighs"

I don't care if you're from the South Pole. If you think, breathe, eat, sleep, cry, et cetera, you're a human being. I lost no one on that day, yet I have feelings of compassion for those that did. You feel that day has no impact on you? Well, I would like you to say that some person who lost a loved one or a buddy. But you won't. You're just doing a bad impression of a human being.

have you seen the spider making its web yet of course im from scotland and a lot of people are sick of hearing about 911 and what a supposed big deal it was just because it happened to america its meant to be some major event of course its a shame for the people families but what about bosnia and what happened there, about the massacres in palestinian refugee camps, suicide bomber in israel, the death of many afghan civilians after americas poorly executed bombing campaign on a group that america + britain provided some of the weapons for in the first place and many many other incidents involving civilian death. i dont consider it "the day that changed the world" just one day in a long line of days where innocent people died the world has not changed its just the same as it was before(apart from the fact it seems to have made bush turn into even more of a lunatic and caused him to enforce ever more imperialist policies on the rest of the world ,which caused 911 in the first place-against the rest of the worlds wishes
Another problem with the 911 thing is that americans have an inability to accept that american foregin policy is at least partly responsable for causing 911. how america can preach about freedom and support a regime in israel which denies palestinian citizens their basic freedoms is beyond me. How else were the muslim people meant to strike back against america face the american military machine head on, no they dont have the ability to do that this was the only way they could strike back. bin laden may be considered the devil in america but so is bush in arab states. the oppressed people of the world struck back as innocent people in their country have died now they did the same in america, now you know how it feels like. what strikes me most about 911 is the fact that you have learned nothing from itdo you think increasing american imperialist influence in the middle east and planning ill advised bombing campaigns against iraq are going to change their opinions of america. no the only way to do that is to force the israeli settlers and israel to remove themselves from the palestinian land they have occupied and allow palestine self government this would go a long way to sorting out that problem and then following that up by addressing any other middle east problems which may arise in a fair way which they have not done so, so far.

I'm sorry that the people died on 9-11. I'm also sorry for the people in Afghanistan who died as a result of American bombing. Who was it who wrote, "any man's death diminishes me"? Until all men and women think that way, and stop counting only their own as being important, then wars will keep happening. In the meantime, as sad as the situation is, the terrorists who destroyed the WTC have to be punished.

Who are you quoting here, Robbie? Personally, I've only ever heard it reffered to as the day that changed America.

As for Israel/Palestine, you didn't listen before you were banned. I don't see why you would now.

Who are you to say America should be punished? I agree our foreign policy stinks, and the American government should definitely be grilled on that subject. That's not a good reason to kill over 3,000 people. Besides, let's say America did fall. Who's next?

What crimes?

Who is going to punish the Arab world for their crimes?

Who is going to punish China for their crimes?

Basic facts about the situation in the middle east that directly contradict your opinions.

Be anti-Israel if you want. But at least base it on what's actually happening.
