It's a pathetic world we live in, where an adult can be convicted of "Display of Obscenity" by selling a comic book to an adult that wasn't declared obscene until well after it was sold (and against all reason, as it didn't met either the Supreme Court rules for obscenity nor Texas' own rules).

You would think that a fair law would be to declare the thing obscene, then file charges if the guy attempted to sell it again. At least that way, the poor guy would actually know he was breaking the law, and not have to guess that the community might object to it ahead of time.
