Have you ever read the book of Exodus? There are some amazing parallels in there to what is going on today with the freed people of Iraq. It's quite understandable that they want to do the rest on their own, although it just as easily could be a huge mistake for them. It's their country, as long as they stay away from WMD's and terrorist threats to us, I have no problem with that. But if they get out of line...WHAM.
