I suppose I should see the irony in you taking the side of the people who are acting like Jack Venooker, but you know... Whatever, dude. There is no irony. It's not taking sides to point out that you continue to volunteer yourself for flogging and then blame the floggers. I believe it's some form of masochism on your part.

Actually [Dumas], EB30 threads and post were not deleted for any rule violations. Don't be hating. Hi, Rick. How have you been? So are all of you coming over here just to troll me or what? I'd like to be accurate when I contact the moderators. You pal around with people who have had several of their threads deleted from the General DC Universe Topics forum. I should know. I had about a 67 percent success rate with getting the ones I reported to the mods deleted. So, if you're going to contradict me it would be helpful if you get your side of the story straight first. Additionally, considering that you've also been banned from the DC boards before, you might want to stay out of this conversation.

I didn't mean to dis this MB. I was unaware that dumas's real rep was known. I can't speak for anyone else (although I sometimes try), but I don't feel dissed. I just don't really care about the DC Comics message board fights or the Comics Journal message board fights or the fights of any message board other than this message board. I know Dumas fights with people elsewhere, but that's between him and them there. Here, he's one of us. As are you! Welcome back. Lawson, I have seen your post elsewhere on this board and I have the utmost respect of your opinion even if I dont always agree with it. You shouldnt care about the going ons and fights on other message boards. If Dumas was attacked becuase of his views on Geoff Johns, or Batman. or anything else he decides to rant about that would be wrong. But that wasnt the point of this thread was it? The thread was to attack the DC comics messege board and a few of its posters. That is the issue. Past experiences with the board were brought up, posters mentioned and even links to the site were posted by Dumas to show proof. He even brings up another message board and claims that they are attacking him when he fired the first shot. During all this, Lawson, where was your statement to dumas saying that you dont care to know about all this? Dumas claims that I am walking into somebody else's house just to pee on the carpet. Actually a better example of this situation is that Dumas is the neighbor who admonishes someone for yelling at his dog who just went on that persons carpet.

I'm 35. I know... It's totally pathetic. Jokergas and some of his friends are older than me.
So, not only am I old enough to know better. But I spent about two years sinking down to their level and trying to get all my least favorite people banned from the DC boards.
I'm the guy who got Bearscout7 banned for talking about shaving his junk on a board where kids sometimes post.
I really enjoyed all the maudlin drama queen stuff afterward where he whined about how unfair that was and tried to use it as proof that he was being oppressed by the Man for talking about his "lifestyle." That was great unintentional comedy.
I'm the guy who ratted Generalzod33 and THE1stMan out for trolling people on the Shazam board. They got banned for a month for that one. I felt like a hero at the time, because the other people they were picking on had a lot more fun on the boards while they were forced to take a break.
I'm the guy who kept sending the moderators links to posts until Bearscout finally got the hint and stopped talking about his sex toy collection.
I spent a lot of time trying to get Zod, Bearscout, Jokergas, Hellblazerraiser (the guy who won't shut up about David Tennant and who got banned from EB30 for posting gay porn images) and a few other idiots banned for the greater good of the boards. The amount of E-mail I was sending to the mods was pretty ridiculous.
At church tonight, I got a pretty intense reminder from the book of Romans that plotting revenge against stupid jerks on the Internet is against my religion. So, I'm feeling pretty stupid right now about the way I've been behaving.
But, you know... If they would have just obeyed the rules in the first place, the mods wouldn't have brought down the hammer in many, many cases where they were trolling people or violating the user agreement in some other way.
Sure, none of them have been banned permanently yet. Except for their buddy Solo550, I guess. But they've been disciplined a lot and the moderators got more strict about the rules because of how they were acting on the boards. So, really, it's only a matter of time.
So, yes... It was wrong for me to spend that much time being a snitch. But it's not like these guys are all sweetness and light. We're talking about people who have spent the last several years ganging up on a guy named Davidh just because he likes Marvel comics. And who regularly do far worse stuff that I ever did. Rickflag isn't as bad as his friends, but he hangs out with a bunch of trolls.

But that wasnt the point of this thread was it? The thread was to attack the DC comics messege board and a few of its posters. That is the issue. Fair enough. I'm in a thread called "Things I learned from the DC Message Boards" and I'm complaining because it seems obsessed with the DC message boards. OK, I'll duck out of this one.

Just a question for Redskulldust, wcrue, and Dumas: How old are you guys? Gerald, I'll tell you if you answer this: Exactly what bearing does our ages have to do with the topic or posts? dumas, I use hsalf (reverse flash) at dcmb. If you point out where I trolled you, tell me and I will apologize for myself. But, there are 240 registered members at eb30. Calling everyone an asshole is a broad statement and it's flat out wrong. And, doing that you called ME an asshole. Face to face I don't recall anyone doing it twice. So, prove I'm a troll or apologize. Next time you break out your Bible, look up these: Judge not lest you be judged. Bearing false witness against your neighbor. As far as turning the other cheek? Well, I have. But not my own. I read comicon because of the higher level of discussion, I haven't posted because it seems to that I would be repeating positive posts or being negative. Back in 1991, text-based, dos command, usenet, I developed an on-line personality inadvertently, let things get personal and quit for a few years because I was an asshole and it really ain't me. I made a decision to not post ad hominems or negatives without references. So, get back to me. Another thing, playing god is never pretty, I think you can offer better. Bill

Guess its a matter of Irony then dumas because all of the guys you just mentioned are still on the DCMB. Generalzod has changed his style. Hes still fighting for Zod and .....Zod. 1stman is still correcting spelling. Same with Jokergas and Hellblazerraiser. Solo was banned but that was for doing something you are very familiar with. He was banned and signed on with a different screen name to post. If you look at it, the only one who really was banned from the DCMB was you. Guess if you played by the rules you would still be on them,

Hi folks! As with any web-site, www.eb30.us , is not responsible for it's member's activities, or statements elsewhere. I find Dumas' generalization of our membership insulting. Anyone that goes there will find a refreshing "troll"-free environment. That's one of the reasons it was created. To this date...no-one has been banned from the site. Posts deleted, yes. In-appropriate posts addressed by our moderators to said poster, yes. In every circumstance communication has been key, an awareness of what is acceptable made clear...and our membership is always willing to comply. They understand what we're about, and are willing to adapt, and in very few cases...part ways with us. Dumas referred to "enemies" in one of the posts prior to this. Dumas is not my enemy. I recall some great interaction with him on the DCMB. I am not "trolling", I would be a hypocrite to do so. Just stopping in to clarify what EB30 is about...and why some of our members were quick to jump to the site's defense. It says something when people that like a web-site so much, are willing to take a beating on it's behalf. Dumas, God Bless... Everyone else...Cheers!...May your God be with you. Jon. editor@eb30.us

If you let Bearscout and Jokergas post there, it's not a troll-free environment.
You're a good guy, Jon. I have issues with some of your friends, but I've always enjoyed your company.
I am, however, getting really, really tired of EB30 people registering here to tell me that I suck.
If y'all are really interested in these boards, great. But if you're just here to fight with me... Seriously, there are better things to do with your time.
