A few years ago, I asked Marv Wolfman if he and George Perez were compensated for their New Teen Titans characters, like Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Deathstroke, who appeared regularly on television, as toys and in current issues of DC comics. Marv didn't go into detail, but yes, he said, there were payments of some kind.....

Interesting point that Lawson made. you see for those who keep referring back to the work for hire contracts as to us selling everything,,,was not the case.. they were standard contracts. so the one George signed was the same as mine... its just the selective execution of the deal which shows prejudice....
and continues to do so. The latest information relayed to my lawyer here is for us to do the research on every character which ever appeared in any comic i illustrated. Imagine the hours this latest maneuver will require..... Same dance..
