One punch was all it took to take out the armored Avenger, Iron Man!
Robert Downey Jr., the actor who brought shellhead and his alter ego, Tony Stark to life in Iron Man, was knocked unconscious when a 350 pound stunt man accidentally connected fist to chin on the set of Downey Jr.'s latest film,
Sherlock Holmes.
According to
The Sun, the hit sent Downey Jr. airborne.
Downey Jr — who plays the famous detective — was “out cold” for six seconds and “drooling blood” before medics could bring him round. A nurse on set at Chatham dockyard in Kent gave him six stitches in his mouth.
This is only one of a few odd occurrences surrounding the
Guy Ritchie film. Several people on set had to run for their lives to avoid an exploding oil tanker as well. Many are joking of a "curse" surrounding the film. Perhaps Professor Moriarty is behind these dastardly deeds!
