The only Polaroid of Ritchey is that one of him in front of the gay bar.

I can't believe people bother to talk to you.

I meant other people.

I'm a shut in, who hates people anyway so I may as well talk to you, as anyone.

Well, it appears as though the losers have vacated the premises again. What shall we talk about now?

Hey, Peter. Didn't you say you tried for a couple of years to be a cartoonist? Show us some of your stuff that you're pleased with.

See?

9 Lives Saloon. The irony being, you won't find any pussy there.

But I was wrong about that being the only picture. I had never Googled for Ritchey before. Here's a couple I found from DragonCon '08:

I know. Getting that drawing board out of your mother's attic is hard work.

Thanks for asking, Allen, but I was the least productive cartoonist ever. It was when my kids were little and I was basically a stay-at-home dad for two years, sponging off my wife. I had worked to put her through grad school, so now that she was a college professor, it was my turn to try to better myself, but i failed miserably.

The kids did go to daycare in the mornings, and I pretty much wasted all that time. I puttered around the house, sketched a little, contributed to an APA, took a drawing class one night a week. I think I only produced ONE submission-worthy cartoon in all that time. It's in a box somewhere, and if I can find it, I'll post it, but no promises. I really was not meant to be a working artist, and realizing that was one of the hardest and most painful lessons I ever had to learn.

I still do a little sketching now and then, and maybe i can find something from those drawings that wouldn't embarrass me too much. Again, no promises. And also again, thanks for asking.
