No “probably” about it. I’ve been reading your posts most days for a little while now, and smirk at your try hard folly every time.

You're a hypocrite to whatever degree you've accused me of not giving Talbot's book a fair reading, since you feel qualified to dispense with full readings yet still give opinions on what you didn't read. If you had some other meaning in mind it was poorly expressed.
I asked if you had read the book yet. What was poorly expressed by that? On second thought, who gives a shit. I don't expect you to acknowledge your hypocrisy.

Squeeky-

As explained earlier, you fit the definition of a sycophant quite aptly. The fact that you tried to weasel out of it doesn't subtract from your sycophantic behaviour, it just adds weaseling to the description of your nature.

I'm glad that you've acknowledged that you are a smirky little thing. The fact that you think of it as a positive character trait says quite a bit about your nature and values.

That you think any of your posts has increased your standing as someone who knows how to argue or effectively flame is fairly humourous. In the words of the mighty Zimmerman, "It's a wonder that you still know how to breath."

Please keep up the ineptness; you do provide a wonderful object lesson of how not to be effective.

"I look forward to reading your next frothingly toothless reply in a week or so."

No, no, you've got it wrong once again-- YOU'RE the one with the froth on his mouth, as attested in my calypso number. That was an original production, BTW, unlike my adaptation of the Lancelot Link song, so your confused comment on that ditty is not only a malapropism but thoroughly inaccurate, since I did not "produce" the original version of your theme song.

"it only took you four days"

Nah, couple minutes. I just didn't read or post anything on Comicon for four days. But what else should one expect from the peanut-eating gallery, than to think I have nothing better to do than read the same post over and over (without, as I said before, even the economy of snoid)?

BTW: still waiting for you to identify those "threats" you spoke of.

Should I ask the mighty Zimmerman? Would he know?

I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave, sir.

You see, actual cognitive argument (elsewhere known as point/counterpoint) confuses the IvanJim chimp and discourages him from his delightfully-senseless chatterings.

We certainly don't want any less of those, do we?

Stevv: "It's fun watching you squeak and whine"

Also, while watching this particular meltdown, we don't have to scroll past Biblical quotes, because the Ivan Chimp couldn't read them!

Angryangrygene, the rabid lamb, tries to blame others for his inability to counter any argument that Charles makes. Since Charles consistantly kicks Angryangrygene's ass up one thread and down another, it's rather disingenuous to cite anything other than his own intellectual impotence for not being able to legitimately counter any point Charles makes.

But, hey, neither integrity nor competence has ever been a hallmark of Angryangrygene's posts.

Why start now?

Oddly, Angryangrygene the rabid lamb, not only misrepresents the content and tenor of tha posts of others, he also expresses a left handed compliment towards posters who spam.

Could it possibly be because, at their heart, all of Angryangrygene's posts exhibit his Aspergerish tendency to vomit out words with little depth or wisdom and marvel at the hidden "brilliance" he's imbued them with? On close examination he's really not all that different from Porta in his excesses, in his dishonesty and in his increasing lack of perception and self awareness. It wouldn't be a complete shock to see Angryangrygene eventually morph himself into an apostle of sorts to our departed PortaPotty.

Expecting you to at least use words correctly when making your daft points is “weaselling”? I guess I should expect no better from someone who can’t spell his main recurring insult.

Main Entry:
sy·co·phant
Function: noun
Etymology:
Latin sycophanta slanderer, swindler, from Greek sykophantēs slanderer, from sykon fig + phainein to show — more at fancyDate:
1575
: a servile self-seeking flatterer

Squeeky-

You are correct in that, while I used the word "weaseling" correctly in describing your attempt to avoid the accurate label of sycophant, I did misspell the word. You are mistaken, though, when you categorize this as an insult. It's just who you are, and you really should embrace your essential nature instead of running and whining from it.

Ironically enough, your very objection itself could certainly be used to point out your weaselly nature. There's a nice little bit of synchronicity to that. After all, there's really no question that you're a servile self-seeking flatterer, nor is your weaselly nature in question (and, yes, that's the correct spelling).

However, I am pleased that, in a rare and unusual twist, you can finally be right about something. Something minor and irrelevant to the actual point being made, to be sure, but right none the less.

You should probably mark this day on the calendar. If you actually had loved ones I'm sure that they'd seize this rare opportunity to be proud of you.
