I took about eight hours, over the course of three days. When I left, I said the contest was still on and for someone to email me when you and Hunter produced anything. I came back three weeks later, under my old account, when I found my old password list (I took it as a sign). Still neither of you had produced anything. I offered more time. Still nothing. Peter finally posted, so I followed.

Again I'll ask you, how do you get passive aggressive or cheap shots or anything negative from everything I've posted in this thread and the Green Lama thread over the last year or so? And why are you lumping me together with him?

And like I said, as far as "equal stature," I've been in publishing for nearly twenty-five years so I wouldn't need to attack you to feel good, and one of the points I've tried to express to necro/allan, is the respect I have, and he should have, for anyone who even gets published.

In what way does that sound pissed off? It's an opinion. And I was trying to be diplomatic. And I was talkinging to necro, the purpose wasn't to give you a constructive critique, that you claim to be open to. The purpose was to show necro that even given the most generous interpretation of his work, his work still wasn't any better than the people's work he was disrespectful of.

Hell, in the same paragraph you make it sound like you would be open to a constructive critique, you then rant on about how one vague comment about your work (not even directed to you), was some attempt by me to feel 'equal stature' with you, when you've said much harsher things about yourself.

Either way it was just an opinion. Hell, I get criticized all the time, you can't have any career art without having to hear some sometimes. But in the last 25 years I've learned not to take it personally. And I've got much worse comments than whatever little implied slight you think I was attempting.

Hey! Many people argue with you and attack you. It's not only not a bad thing in and of itself, some might even consider it a sign of good character.

Either way, it's not really his fault, you got the poor guy all wound up in the first place, so he was bound to have a few paranoid moments now and again. I'm waiting until he responds, I want to give him a chance to explain himself before I concede anything. I'm sure it's all just some silly misunderstanding.

No, I assure you he is incapable of accepting criticism. Hunter is the same way.
