So stop writing me love poetry. Stop being GAY for it. Fuck this. Since Allen is clearly an expert on "writing" and what's good or not good, just like he is on art. LET HIM WRITE THE SCRIPT! You all already have a page of his artwork to judge your work by. No reason for him to drone on and on and on. So c'mon Allen, show us "losers" how to write a real comic script. Stupid ass.

He started it! Did not! You did! For a year, before my patience ran out. I just realized--I've seen your art, Joe/Greg. Hunter sent me to your page 3 weeks ago. Hunter, did you let what I said get back to him? Did I tell you Chas. Truog hates my art, too? Larsen's actually rejected me before, so you might stand a chance, if the big guns choose to participate.

I want to know what it is, not have the blanket opinion of 'YOU SUCK', subtle or no, without any follow-up as to why. That's not supposed to piss me off? What was it that Joe said about your work that got you annoyed with him? Was it on another thread? Sorry if I missed it here on this thread, I just got curious.

Here's an option, asshole--I can save a lot of time and effort, if you'll just direct me to some of your art online. If you're better than me I will say so and you'll be the first, ever, who was better than me who was this fucking rude. Mark Bagley, maybe. Capable people don't insult others to feel better about themselves. If worse, I'll politely tell you how to improve. I was a damned good, REAL art director. Not that I'd really want your advice, and I don't have a site with my design work yet, and I know I should but to be honest I got a ton of clients when the place I left two years ago went out of business. So, I've been able to concentrate my online efforts on getting more illustration and cartoon jobs, but there are a handful of design jobs on my blog, if you go back a ways... Do you have any design work online?

What has already been posted here of mine is better than anything Hunter or Ritchey has ever done. My probably overly diplomatic response TO ALLEN after seeing Allen's art...
I think an argument could be made that you do some things better than Hunter or Ritchey. An argument could be made to say they do some things better than you. But I gotta say you're really not clearly "better" than they are. I think You guys are all really close.
So as far as you proving your claims of being "better," my vote, I'd say a tie, I couldn't pick a clear winner.
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
I did like Peter's layout.
Which then resulted in this response from Mr. Ritchey.... ...I may not be the top of the A-List, but Jesus Mothafuckin' Christ--what did I ever do to piss you off? What's up with you and Joe Lee beyond some need to feel of 'equal stature' to some poor jerk doing an Indy comic, by attempting to piss him off? I mean with Necro, I get it--he's delusional--but what's in it for you? If you don't like it, don't read it, and keep your opinions to yourself--or tell me how to make it better--give advice of practical use, give any plausible expression of erudition to go with your opinion, or shut the fuck up.
Sorry--just tired of the cheap shots, I guess. Was that a sane reaction?
