Chas truog is a MN artist who drew Animal Man and sucks major ass. He is a prick to nearly everyone. He might be talented I dunno, I think his work is not good.

It goes back way before what he just quoted--which was a response to a year of his 'you are so mediocre and I am so great' BS-attitude, to the thread I had Conley delete because it was so filled with relentlessly catty personal and professional attacks. No way to prove it, now--and sorry to subject any bystander to the shit-sling this has turned into.

I just want to write and draw, then advertise my comics. If feeling quietly secure that you don't completely suck is a sin, and responding negatively to those who think you do is wrong, then nail me to that cross <note hilarious martyr reference>!

You were in and out of that thread, not exactly consistent only when Necro was really trying to fish for bait. Necro was an asshole for constantly bumping the thread as an e-stalker, but I think you got your facts wrong about Joe Lee.

His first work was on Steve Englhart's Coyote, following Marshall Rogers, Steve Liealoha and Butch Guice. McFarlane on Scorpio Rose was the backup feature during Truog's run. His claim was that while other comics artists took their influence from Kirby, Ditko, Adams, etc., he took his influences from Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Vermeer, etc.

He did some okay single illustrations, but his sequential work pretty much all sucked. Like he was overwhelmed by the task of composing the whole page. I bet if he worked like Dave Gibbons does now — drawing each panel separately and putting them together in Photoshop — he could probably do some good work.

I have no idea what he's talking about. It's all in his paranoid little mind. Necro attacked him for his book being late in the green Lama thread and I along with several others, gave necro crap for it. Over a long period of time. Which I'm now ever so I'm so happy i did. Because he started accusing me of going after him with that critique, and now he claims I was attacking him the whole time, but subtle like.

Joe didn't do anything of the sort. The only time he laughed at you in that thread was when I made the joke that your Green Lama could make comics history if the first issue went into the public domain before the second issue came out. Besides that, he was all about snubbing me in that thread. Which means I should say...
