Pat, your Vincent Price Road Rage book sold out EVERYWHERE - I've been to 5 stores, and I can't find a copy in Boston. People must have underordered.

My retailer is looking for one on back order.

You say wonderful, I say annoying.

Haha, sorry, Allen, but you can't fight it!

Did you notice how we also changed the name of the thread?

Thanks, Pat. Checked out those Road Rage samples online, and it was nice to see Larsen's thread wasn't about you! Early 'seventies Moebius level of insanely detailed and good. Getting back to a comment you made--it seems most editors idea of someone being 'dated' is whoever isn't copying the flavor of the week. Your stuff's 'balls to the wall'--better than ever.

To Necro--although Joe Lee's idea for this was rather like the 'Libretto' for 'Beat It' by Michael Jackson--how he happened on it bizarre, you should be happy something positive finally came out of your relentlessly foul behavior. You should be defeating us with your creativity, not your destructiveness. laugh

Thanks James for the kind words.
I’m not sure if you remember a thread I started some months back but that issue,VC Presents, was done at a greatly reduced size from 11x17. I think that it held up well. Of course I didn’t think about the art resale value at the different size. But I was able to put two to a page.
I had actually offered a book to Image, but Eric turned it down. I respect his opinions, even though I disagree with what he had to say about the book. And my T-Rex book, along with another finished concept was picked up by Bluewater comics, with an incredibly better deal than the standard Image deals offered. They both will be out next year after the ManOWar mini series. So you see when one door closes another one does open up.

If I was the paranoid or thin-skinned type, I might think that was some sort of insidiously subtle insult. grin

Yeah, why change the title? It was there to remind us of the volatile roots of our burgeoning little league of delinquents.

And what's on the agenda for tomorrow's drawings?

Just for fun! Go ahead and change it back if you prefer.

For a slight change of pace from super-heroes, how about Betty and Veronica? Both of them or just one alone.

Great job, Peter--best yet.

The only take on Betty and Veronica I would be interested in doing won't be work-safe.
