I think tomorrow's sketch should be of Internet Tough Guy.

Or we could do self-portrait day. That could be fun.

I do fake art. My self-portrait is my avatar, and I'm terrible at drawing from life, as evidenced. I'm not really interested in all of these little diversions into other things involving the use of reference. It's cheating.

Learn Illustrator--much faster learning curve--I HATE lettering in Photoshop, and once you get the hang of it, it's ten times easier. File sizes are reduced drastically for print, even at raster settings of 400 dpi, print size--between 500k and a MB.

I did know that Illustrator is the industry standard for lettering and will definitely get it,still saving my nickels and dimes. Good to know that it's not too difficult a program for the digitally impaired like myself.

Until you can afford it, go with Inkscape.

And I'm all for self-portrait day.

Dan, Joe, and MightyQuin, great work everyone!

Joe, I had missed your Cyclops pic until now somehow, it's very impressive! Awesome! I especially like the feeling of weight, and the splayed toes!

James, maybe just do a superhero version of yourself? Or skip a day, no problem. What do you want to do the next day then?

Hunter, i think I forgot to mention that I liked your various Punisher drawings a lot, both the cartoony version and the more detailed.
