Since the thread that we were posting sketches in got flushed to the Gutters, here's a new one to put stuff in! Enjoy and have fun!

For reference, this is a link to the old thread, starting from the point where people started posting art:

Now, where were we?

I think the next daily theme was going to be self-portraits. Also, some topics that got suggested but not really followed up on by anybody (except the super-speedy Dan Carroll):

Girls in chainmail bikinis
Pulp Heroes
Action Shots

So, chip in your suggestions, weary cartoonists!

Oops, this is a drawing I did a few months ago at my kids' request, and just found again on my hard drive. A cat piloting a gondola.

Edit Reason: oops, wrong pic

Here's what I meant to post, a self-portrait to get us started.

Wow,those made me smile. I can imagine an animation featuring your gondolier very easily. That cat has all kinds of character,Peter, you too!

Anyone know why the other thread got flushed?

Here's a self portrait.

It's actually only semi-accurate; in real life I'm left-handed.

My niece Gillian, did this portrait of me in exchange for a drawing of a turtle with mittens and a hat, from me. It's not a self portrait, but I've been dying to find an excuse to post it for weeks.
