Joe,

You have a gnarlly style sometimes. I think it'd kick so much ass if you illustrated a punk poem book. It could be lyrical, snide, aggressive, rebellious, political, anti-political, etc.

More importantly...it could be fun.

It comes with alot of attitude....speaking of which...

I think a good idea would to also emply Necro if he's interested.

You'd have me, you, and necro maybe one or two others on art chores to vary up the look...

But otherwise...

You ever buy a c.d. that you were looking forward to and then you open it and it's like a bunch of liner notes and thank you's?

I'm sorry but ever since I've experienced White Zombie, that's how motherfuckin c.d.'s should look. Lots of awesome drawings and lyrics, almost comics.

That's the idea for the visual look of the book...for the literary part, I'd rather go private for that, you know where to find me.

I actually would really like to work on a project with you guys. I sent you an email. But I want to finish all the current spec projects I'm working on first, before starting something new.

Great expressions, Joe! I love those kind of emotional-spectrum studies, and don't see them too often for funny animals, for some reason. Great character, too, but is he a cow, or a dog, or a hybrid cow-dog?

Gotta get back to more drawing! Maybe I'll try an emotional-spectrum study type thing too!

Thanks Peter!

Really can't tell? Crap.

He's a goat.

It's a really bad pun actually. (SPOILER: He's the villain in the story, but then it turns out he was just a scapegoat. Ouch, sorry. And not really much of a spoiler I suppose, it seemed obvious to me when I was reading the script...).

I'm doing model sheets all week actually, for a few different projects. Trying to get them all done.

Oh yeah, a goat makes sense! Not sure why I didn't get that before. Cartoonifying animals can be tougher than it looks, I'm certainly no good at it myself. And plenty of successful cartoon animals are pretty ambiguous as to their actual species, like the Animaniacs, or Jim Woodring's Frank.

Hey remember when people would sketch things quickly in the morning and post them?

The Beatification of Billy Burroughs.

Oh. We can't post images anymore?

Ah.

Did you post from the same place you did before? I couldn't post from some sites, like blogger, but I could from deviant art.
