In other words, we're all going to die one day, so it's useless to hope. I get it, Jimbo, I get it. frown

No problem. I understand most of the English language...even though I'm an American. grin

The smile seems a bit forced on some of these characters he sketched.
Really Puck, what can be that smileworthy?
Sasquatch is another one. What are they smiling at? In order for me to smile like that I'd have to be looking at something that included a midget and a donkey.

Interesting yet...telling:
Northstar doesn't really have a smile per se...more like a smirk. Whatever it is they're smiling at really doesn't do much for him. Conversely, Aurora has a huge almost joker like smile on her. Whatever it is certainly has her attention. she seems like the naughty type too. Geez, I'll bet it is a donkey and a midget.

I think Puck's face looks more of a grimace, as in, alright, time to kick some ass.

The rest however you got.

Midgets and donkeys are probably the cause.

What I find more unsettling than the facial expressions is Byrne's current obsession with filling the page with ink, eliminating all negative spaces. And posing the characters like they were jigsaw puzzle pieces. Actually this sketch is better than most in that regard, as he does have some characters overlapping. But still the overall effect is to flatten out the whole image. Contrast it to the cover image of Alpha Flight #1 which it is based on. AF#1 conveys depth and movement much better.

There was a poster over there that was posting on that thread and he was crude. Calling him johnnie and trashing the piece. I should have copy/pasted that stuff because it was in your face crude. jb has since deleted them (don't blame him).

I consider this thread a blur of Ocean's Eleven and a Comedy Central Roast of...jb. What I saw over there was the antics of an amateur. I offer him redemption by coming over here and letting us school him w/regards to his (or her but i doubt it) mission.
