Byrne didn't like people quoting from his forum in other parts of the internet, and making fun of him and his fans, so he hid the forum from outside viewers. That's not the action of somebody who doesn't care what people think of him. But if he wants a more private forum, I don't blame him for that.

And it looks like his commissions will still be viewable at

Just another nail in the JBF coffin.

Even with the current restrictions, I see a wealth of material to work with. This thread isn't dead by any means. It's just beginning...I swear it!*

"His old stuff was better". JB get's ruffled when people use that term. I wonder why that is? Is his old stuff truly better? You decide.

Is that a product of deteriorating skills, blowing it out his ass, or a different eye towards the subject?

Honestly speaking I am not a fan of either piece. So I am asking out of curiosity.

Okay, I have successfully registered under my own name at the JBF, and I made my first post there, in a discussion about early Marvel that went off on the interesting tangent of, what if Joe Maneely had lived?

Strangely enough, now that they have trusted me enough to join over there, I find myself hesitant to abuse that trust by posting quotes here. Not that there was anything particularly quote-worthy or scandalous in that specific thread, anyway, but once something does come up, I'm going to be in a bit of a bind, which I'll have to resolve at that later time.

Anyway, for more info on Joe Maneely and What If, see here:
