I'm at least looking forward to them honoring Antonio Inoki. His occasional forays into the US market (as few as they were) were forgettable, but his legendary status in Japan is without question...IMO.
Many foreign (to Japan) wrestlers learned a great deal from Mr. Inoki when they had tours in Japan & for the most part he is well respected amongst his peers.

(Damn!

This thread will never die!)

Yeah, that is pretty cool. I had really hoped Paul Bousch was going to be honored last year, since WM was in Houston and all.

I haven't looked, what's the word on the street as to the HOF headliner?

Some names i'd like to see:

Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth
Ultimate Warrior (doubt it tho, with the DVD WWE put out)
Road Warriors
Jake the Snake
Ron Simmons
Arn Anderson
Hell, the Legacy of the Four Horsemen would be cool, but with Rick at TNA, that'd be weird.

I think it's Inoki and DiBiase so far. Stan Hansen, who should be in the HOF along with his old partner Bruiser Brody, will be inducting Inoki.

The Horsemen are a good call, but yeah, with Naitch in TNA I doubt it. Arn, Tully and Windham are definite hall of famers, though.

Savage would be that much needed headliner. They finally did the DVD, but whether they ever actually have Savage at a WWE event again is another question.

Simmons and the Road Warriors are good calls. Maybe JBL? I could see the Freebirds finally going in, although they may wait until next year with Wrestlemania in Atlanta.

They originally named Stu Hart, but Vince took that away as part of the new Bret/Mr. McMahon storyline.

The Freebirds would be cool.

Owen Hart needs to go in, too.

Whoa, Frank! Hey, man. Good to see that to see this thread is still alive. I haven't been watching wrestling like I used to, but I still keep up with what's going on. I am kind of excited about Rock/Cena. I hope they finally pull the trigger on the Cena heel turn... it's just painful watching his babyface characrer. I just picked up the Survivor Series DVD to watch Rock's in-ring return. I did see that Chris Jericho is back. Y2J/Punk at 'Mania would be awesome.

Off topic in the off topic thread, sorry about the Texans. I really think we would be seeing a New England/Houston AFC Championship game Sunday if Matt Schaub didn't get hurt. You guys have a wagon there and should contend for years.

Yeah, the Cena Heel turn needs to come. SOON.

Man, this was the BEST season for my Houston Texans EVER!! I was at the Cincy playoff game and the atmosphere was incredible. Yates did as much as he could, but was just outmatched.

What we learned from the 2011 season is this team has DEPTH. Yates will be even better down the line, should we lose Schaub again.

The big question is, what do we do with Mario?
