In a restaurant parking lot the other night, a big ol' bible-thumper type put this kinda stuff in perspective for me:

"Here's what you liberal fellers need ta understand - that there Polanky done raped some kid, so God killed his pregnant wife. That there Teddy Kenny done raped some gal and drowned 'er, so God give 'im brain cancer. See whatta mean? What goes 'round comes 'round!"

I just smiled and thanked him for sharing his opinion, and got the heck outta there.
