That was her. She's actually got an interesting career window right now. She's the right age and got the right look to play opposite the male stars who can't even see 40 years old in their rear view mirror anymore. Farmiga is kind of the opposite of Rachel McAdams, who just looks too freakin' young and girlish when matched up with middle aged co-stars.

Just saw Repo Men. One of the better sci-fi flicks in a while, though that's not exactly a high bar to get over.

"REPO! The Genetic Opera - A Rock Opera / Movie Musical" ?

I think I've seen the box for that one a few times in my library. We don't own it, but somebody keeps ordering it through interlibrary loan. It does sound like the basic setup is somewhat similar to the new movie, strangely enough.

Yeah, it's real bad, and in a boring sort of way.

3 brief reviews: The Runaways, Green Zone and Greenberg.

REPO MEN is an adaptation of the book "The Reposession Mambo". I don't know what inspired REPO!.

Supposedly this new movie and Repo! were filmed around the same time, so they could both be inspired by the same material. I'll see Repo Men when it hits DVD.

Repo! was amazing. There are very few films in the same category. No movie since Rocky Horror even comes close to it. Moulin Rouge might have been as good if they hadn't cribbed all the music and dialogue from elsewhere. And if Baz Luhrmann hadn't edited it.
