Q for JB: is it possible that you are attempting delete the whole fooking world, one pissed off, insulted, and randomly banned forum member at a time?

It's like a performance art project, perhaps, and kind of genius when you think about it: Byrne has created his own little sub-universe, of which the sole purpose is to eventually eliminate everyone in the world who disagrees with him or in anyway displeases him. Sometimes he speeds up the process by deliberately trolling board members to the point where they have no choice but to disagree and become eliminated.

On the other hand, though, some of his latest commissions have been of fairly high quality. So there's that.

It's a one sided intellectual discussion - Byrne doesn't know what he's talking about and is in "I've read a book" mode but doesn't understand the subject. A cursory check of the subject shows that Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare. End of.

I was being obtuse I guess, I think Byrne is very attached to the sanctity of his domain, and thereby takes issue with disagreers. Whereas I am in a world that by nature vehemently disagrees with me, so maybe I should delete them, or failing that, me.

Not obtuse, I was just supposing that Byrne is actually pretty much in the same boat you are but has taken a unique approach to solving the problem by creating a "world" in which he can, in fact delete anyone who vehemently disagrees with him.

Genius!

Has anyone asked him if he thinks time is a linear concept?

I was responding to the link regarding the atheist discussion...not the Shakespeare discussion.

Still, in what way does JB not know what he's talking about in regards to Shakespeare?

Is this, in fact, happening in the thread in question? Has JB deleted someone for disagreeing with him?
