as much as I like pretty pics to me Doc Strange cannot be a straight forward work, it needs funk.

That's what was there! Weirdness. Stuff happening in the background (little creepy critters here & there). JB would have to get really creative with his storytelling, but I bet he could do it.

As we've seen, he hasn't lost anything to speak of creatively, so I am sure he could.

Would he want to is a different question. I wonder if JB likes the character. That would be an interesting run.

I'd buy a Dr Strange book by Byrne. The few drawings I've seen of the character by him are very cool, and I think he handles mystical characters well

I've noticed he doesn't acknowledge Jodi Moisan. Haven't seen a post in which he replies or comments back to her. I love it.

Back to Byrne refusing to do interviews. You don't promote your work by saying, "Here I am if you want me." You need to go where the traffic/interest/readers are. I'm sure more people would see a Byrne interview on Newsarama than would ever visit his little forum (membership 800-something)

Must be tough on IDW.

Well, everyone loves to slow down and check out a good car wreck... but given that there's really only about a dozen regular contributors to this thread, I'd keep the number of people talking about him in perspective.
