It's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember thinking that it should have been a series of docs, because they spend so little time with each artist.
But it's better than most. Especially those "History" of comics things on the Discovery or History channels that get all the facts wrong, like giving credit to Stan Lee for inventing the comic book, or that the government censored comics in the fifties. And it's way better than the semi-annual, slow-news-day piece they do in my local paper, usually titled something like, "Comics are not just for kids anymore" They always show a copy of Maus, Dark Knight and Watchmen and the more recent ones show a screen cap from a few movies, Batman, Spiderman or Iron Man, or whatever is most recent, next to the picture of the cover of Maus.
There are so many better books on the subject.
