Here's my attempt at "Democracy". I didn't get it in 12 unfortunately.
"1.Open with us looking at the back of the hoplite warrior sitting on the rock on Marathon beach.
2.He takes off his helmet.
3.Now we cut to looking up at the hoplite warrior, bearded maybe, grissled, veteran of war, he stares outward.
4.Cut to the scene from the previous day where there’s a shot of feet running towards the water, and other feet chasing them.
5.Cut now to Emeror Darius sittings on a throne, Persian soldiers surrounding him.
6.Cut now to both factions shield to shield in battle.
7.Cut to where the hoplite now walks the beach, clean shores as you said Ness.
8.Cut to A Hoplite yelling in victory, holding up a trophy.
9.Cut to now w/ the hoplite sinking to his knees.
10.Close up on his face, his eyes as he stares at the sand.
11.On the sand a puddle of blood starts to pool…
12.Flashes of the future, politics, history moving forward.
13.Pull out to show a shadow of the hoplite now side profile, with an arrow sticking out of his side/gut.
14.Close back in on his face, he smiles and closes his eyes.
15.Lays down and rests for good."
