I recall JB mentioning that he has pretty much written his memoirs, but I can't recall his reasoning for NOT publishing it.

As much as i like this guy's work, I think some poor choices were made on his part. You just don't get your ass kicked in jail. Sure maybe in a majorly populated bad ass inner city jail cell or some maximum security prison. But in the town of (wherever) he lives? I can't help but think there was instigation on his end. Same with the po po

I recall much the same. If he can finish Next Men, I'm sure it wouldn't be a trick to at least have this out there too.

Yeah, it doesn't look good. I'm a huge fan. But even by their own accounting he was at least partly to blame and could have avoided the trouble.
