Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum tells FOX News:

"All of a sudden now, because your moral values don't comport with what their moral values are, all of a sudden, oh, he must be trying to impose his values. This is the kind of, you know, this makes it, you know, really a war on people of faith. Particularly the Catholic faith."

Is there a war on faith in your town?

We have more than 100 churches in my town representing every major faith -- Christian (Protestant and Catholic), Jewish, Islamic -- even a Unitarian-Universalist, and hell, they're practically agnostics!

I've traveled all over this country. There were plenty of churches in every town I've visited, plenty of religious people, many as conservative as Rick Santorum and happy to say so.

If there truly is a town where there's a war on faith and Christians are persecuted and the atheists run everything, does someone have a location for me?

Your liberal bias is amusing.

Are you merely asking for an example; or are you saying you wish to move to some place where you can persecute Christians?

I'm merely asking for an example of this much-cited America where Christians are persecuted, religion is taboo and atheism is the top dog.

I've no desire to move there. I'll leave the inquisitions to the experts. All I've ever asked of religions is that they leave me and mine alone, and in exchange, I'm happy to do likewise.

That's only one of three wars Obama is perpetrating on good Americans. His agenda also includes taking all our guns and ability to resist his authority and as Sarah Palin shrilly exclaims, he's ' trying to take our personal freedoms'! I hate to merely state the obvious, but all the rhetoric is just a blatant grab for votes. Often works too.

The guns thing -- yeah, I don't get that.

I heard the head of the National Rifle Association on the radio the other day saying that Obama has done nothing for the last four years but try to repeal the Second Amendment, and if Obama gets a second term, no American will be able to own a gun.

Uh.

Can anyone show me where Obama has done anything like this?

There are all sort of legitimate reasons to vote against him, from the left and from the right. But Democrats in Washington long ago threw in the towel on gun control. It's a non-issue except for NRA fund-raising. The NRA is just scared to declare victory and go home.

Would Santorum want a Muslim politician deciding on US laws based on what the Koran says?

And if you're basing your policy on your particular religious faith, wouldn't that be wrong if the people aren't all part of you're religious denomination.

I thought Kennedy made a good speech about church and state.

Folks who want religion to shape government and dictate our public life mean their religion, not the infidels'. Of course, everyone is an infidel to someone.
