Hey, Cerebus TV, why didn't you tell us about the Cerebus Kickstarter?

Cerebus Kickstarter

The CEREBUS: High Society - Special Audio/Visual Digital Edition sounds like a truly worthy project, not to mention that the assortment of premiums for the various pledge levels ranges from nice to rare to legendary to hilarious:
Quote:

-Cerebus Issue 0 (White Logo)

-Cerebus World Tour Book! Each one signed by Dave Sim.

-Kevin Eastman of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is going to team up with Dave Sim to create a kickstarter print of the four turtles AND "Matisse" the unknown Turtle (it's CEREBUS as a turtle)

-CEREBUS Head Sketch of your choice on Aardvark-Vanaheim Stationary!! signed and personalized by Dave Sim. Choice of CEREBUS THE BARBARIAN (helmet), POPE (cool Pope scarf), BABY CEREBUS, YOUNG CEREBUS, OLD CEREBUS, GROUCHO CEREBUS, DRUNK CEREBUS...or slip me an extra $20 on the side and I'll tell the senile old bint that you bought a $1,000 package and get you whatever you want (no CEREBUS AS GALACTUS, though -- he's wise to that one, now)

-a SEALED pack of DIAMONDBACK Playing Cards -- the crazy, bankrupting card game Dave Sim the sadist invented back in HIGH SOCIETY because he hates card games!

-etc. etc.

But what really attracted me to the project was the various Updates on that site, where Sim goes into detail on his plans and thoughts about the project, the work involved, the people working with him, and so on. It's a side of Dave that we haven't seen in a while, the hardworking, thoughtful self-publisher side, refreshingly free of political jargon and ranting. Well worth taking a look-see even if you don't plan to contribute.
