He's not judging the film. Only certain aspects of the film that he has had access to.
Wow.
Sure, ok.
Call it whatever you want.

Can I ask why that distinction is significant?
JB has yet to see the film...therefore he cannot possibly be judging the film in & of itself. He has seen images & trailers & has decided, based only on those images & trailers, not to see the film.
You won't see him making any absolute statments to the effect that the entire film is "crap," but things like "costumes, casting, characterization, etc."
JB is stuck in regular Marvel Universe mode, so to speak.
So he probably shouldn't like (the parts of) any Marvel movie.
There will always be something for JB to dislike about adaptations of super-hero comic books. I don't recall JB refusing to see most of the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe films (I believe he said a LOT of positive things about the first Iron Man film).
He must have hated the Spideman movies?
Indeed. I recall he liked the visuals of the first Spider-Man film when the trailers first started appearing. However, the more & more he saw of the film (images, trailers, interviews with Sam Raimi & the organic web-shoooting) the more & more he seemed to dislike what he saw.
In the end, JB saw all 3 Tobey McGuire (SP?) Spider-Man films & didn't have too many positive things to say.
Has he commented on the new Spider-man reboot yet?
I believe he has, but I can't really recall anything negative up to this point.
