Cameron wrote a script/treatment for Spider-Man in 1991. I know of absolutely no evidence or even allegation that there was even a hint of him still being possibly involved with the production when it finally got rolling 9 years later. So the real question is why you stupidly brought up the Cameron/Raimi comparison in the first place.

Why do you think Sony threw around so much money to get CarolCo, Revlon, etc., out of the picture? Because they thought they were clearing the way for a Cameron project.

Where in any of that did I say I was "an expert on the inner workings of Hollywood"? I said I know how Raimi was hired to direct Spider-Man.
