What the hell script are you even talking about? You do realize that there are multiple things other than scripts that get written for motion pictures, right? Penn may have written a log line, an outline, a treatment or even just some set pieces.

And by the way, what kind of mentally challenged standard of proof are we talking about here? We've got Whedon's script. You claim he didn't actually write it but don't have any evidence to back that up. However, the only way you think your unsupported allegation can be disproven is for someone else to produce a script which, if you're wrong, never existed in the first place. Are you so far gone that you can't see how insane that is?

Feige dictated content to Whedon, by Whedon's admission. Penn was developing his script for three years before Whedon ever showed up. Fact. Whedon pans Penn's SCRIPT — Google it.

Then why the hell haven't you come up with it, since it would prove all your willfully ignorant theories? Or are you afraid of being confronted with your own dellusions of grandeur?

The lack of self-awareness in that sentence is stunning, even for you. It still doesn't change the fact that you're the one who should have to come up with proof for your idiot theories.

There could be 30 more minutes of Joss Whedon goodness for Allen to hate soon!

Disney and Marvel plan to make Avengers the #1 movie ever, by releasing the Directors cut in theaters near the end of the summer, with an extra thirty minutes and give the Avengers the push it needs to top the Cameron oeuvre, and be the top grossing film of all time...

Well, I'll certainly buy a ticket but I think the studio is letting their ego run away with them. The box office trend says Avengers is going to surpass Titanic for #2 on the all-time, non-inflation adjusted list but it looks like it's going to finish its initial run perhaps $100 million or more behind Avatar. They might be able to close that gap but only by spending another big chunk of change on promotion and possibly at the risk of losing some sales of the eventual DVD/Blu-Ray release.

Business-wise, they'd probably be better off being happy with #2 and maximixing the sales to home viewers.

You don't think that Disney wouldn't pay a few extra bucks to have the number one movie of all time, (it sure would go a long way towards erasing the stigma of having released the supposedly biggest flop of all-time earlier this year with John Carter).

Director's Cut? Don't they mean Producer's Cut, since all Whedon did was tarnish Feige's story.

Probably more accurate. The extra thirty minutes is probably mostly CGI explorations that got dropped, padded with some hastily assembled reaction shots from the principals, like a modern-day version of the American releases of Japanese monster movies.

At any rate, hopefully they'll insert some action prior to the hour-forty mark.
