As every article that's coming out is further proving, Whedon's story credit is largely ceremonial. And no one has yet brought forth Penn's take.

This thread is like a microcosm of what's wrong with our discourse in general. It's not just having a guy authoritiatively spouting off when he clearly doesn't have the slighest idea what he's talking about. It's how Allen has actually gotten less rational over time. He started out making comments about stuff like the Hulk-Loki scene that while wrong and weirdly insistent, were not completely unreasonable. Now he's arguing against established facts based on information he even admits he doesn't actually possess.
