The other night for our anniversary I took my wife out for sushi & sashimi, the film "Hysteria", and then to Burger King for bacon sundaes. My opinion of the new non-kosher-treat: MEH.
It wasn't particularly bad, mind you, but they had to cook the bacon very drily to make sure there was no grease, and I like my bacon thick & juicy & chewy, not dry & crispy. The bacon did have a salty taste that goes well with ice cream -- I for one like to dip my fries in my soft-serve vanilla cones -- but didn't think the bacon taste went well with the chocolate and caramel that were generously drizzled throughout the serving.
Anyone else try this? What are your thoughts?
