That stuff about Will Smith, good fathers and nepotism is comedy gold (particularly the part about how the guy was willing to spend gobs and gobs of capital, both monetary and cultural, to see his son playing in a football game). PAD's making a real effort to claim the title for that thread, at least. It's still going on and I'm tempted to register over there just to ask him if he thinks the Spider-crossover "The Other" has stood the test of time.

I don't see PAD there as being a big douche, asshole or anything. Especially compared to the others he is arguing with.

I am not suggesting PAD is deserving of great praise for restraint or intellectual argumentation, I just see him as defending his words and the work he is associated with.

When it comes to the last several films out of M. Night and, particularly, the name Cypher Raige...yeah, just admitting that people have a point in their complaints would be nice.
