Science Channel to broadcast 'Firefly' reunion special, filming at Comic-Con, how long before some of that Whedon Avengers money funds another Firefly movie?

It's not actually like a new episode though, is it? Sounds more like it's just going to be an interview with the cast.

I'd love to see more episodes or another film though.

No it's not an episode, it's just a retrospective thing.

I was just speculating that Whedon could take some of that Avengers money and fund another Firefly movie, or even a series of made for tv/dvd movies.

Wasn't the reason Firefly got canned in the first place due to the TV station airing episodes out of order? I may be wrong, but I remember hearing something like that was a big contributor to its poor ratings.

Maybe, I couldn't say. I never saw it when it was first on. I saw Firefly reruns on the Sci Fi channel. Then I saw a DVD set at Costco. Really cheap.

Same withe Buffy & Angel. Saw the syndicated reruns on late night and mornings on tbs or tnt, one of those. Then bought the dvds.

Caught Firefly on Netflix this spring. Not bad.

I got it on DVD too, just something I heard. Might have just been an excuse from hardcore fans trying to explain the low ratings.
