A few things I'm looking for in this movie:
First and foremost--special effects: I want an original cool take on flying, cool demonstrations of strength, heat vision, xray vision...
His portrayal of clark kent
a lot of action

That tiny clip of him breaking the sound barrier looked pretty original. The Clark Kent bits were certainly not the standard mild-mannered reporter, more like the Birthright series that had him wandering the world before putting on the suit.
As always, impossible to judge from just this. But so far it looks encouraging. Setting the story in the whole world rather than just Metropolis, if that's what they are doing, could be a good idea. Sometimes superhero movies get stuck in the limited number of sets that it is possible to build (either real or model or CGI), so aiming for a wider field of vision is a worthwhile ambition for a film-maker.

I liked "Sucker Punch", "Watchmen", "300", and "Dawn of the Dead" (I haven't seen "Legend of the Guardians"), so I'll give Snyder the benefit of the doubt. The teaser trailer doesn't make me excited to see the movie, though. I've seen Superman fly already, so that isn't a big deal.
I hope that Nolan's contribution to the film doesn't include making it boring.

I saw the trailer before DKR, and it looks like a real bore. I'm betting that it'll take at least an hour before we see Superman. Get on with it already!

The worst part of DKR is that there's a whole lot of Gotham Central, and not near enough Batman or Bane or Catwoman.

The worst part of DKR is that there's a whole lot of Gotham Central, and not near enough Batman or Bane or Catwoman. Nah, the worst part is that Nolan goes back and essentially makes a sequel to Batman Begins, instead of The Dark Knight. Losing Ledger was a huge hurdle to get over and Nolan appears to have decided to simply not run the race. Mike
