Add Jim Steranko to the scab list. I appreciated his position on the S.H.I.E.L.D. reprint, but his work has been very rough for the last fifteen years or so. I'm pretty sure his alt cover to Rorschach #1 was done in Illustrator.

There scraping the bottom of the barrel to see how much more they can get out of Batman, Superman,... Hell what aren't they squeezing every last drop out of? Even Marvel. Spiderman's an Avenger. We have rainbows of Hulks, Lanterns, Arrows, Beetles, how soon before we get Red Surfers, Yellow Witches or White Panthers?

I read Spiderman's getting a sidekick now. Pretty soon every character, Marvel and DC own will have done everything any character has ever done. Why is everyone shocked when the same business practices we've seen for thirty years are being applied to something that made them money?

Actually I complain about most of that stuff too.

Sinestro Corps was cool, but then they come out with Blue, Indigo, Red, and Orange Corps and I thought that dilluted the idea of Green Lantern. Now DC has come out with these titles: Green Lantern: New Guardians, Red Lanterns, in addition to GL and GL: Corps.

I thought it was ridiculous when DC was trying to expand the Superman titles and put out a Metropolis PD series.

I don't really read Marvel and DC superhero comics anymore. All the new stuff (to me) I tried and it was either fun but cancelled (Shooter's LOSH) or had great art but was boring (Powergirl and Terra).

Cheer up. He can't live forever. Then you'll have him at your mercy.
