I figured it's just the best way to go about anything illustration wise without spending alot of time on it.
What I'm doing now is laying out the figure or ojecets on loose leaf paper 3x5 using a leadholder 2-H lead. If you don't use something like a leadholder it gets bloopy when you enlage it thumb or smaller the blowing it up about 2 times bigger.
When you trace it though so you don't loose anything from the rough I'm using a Retro 51 tornado pencil but any thick lead pencil will work just make it loose.
Then add details with a Kerry or a Graph Gear 500.
The entire thing is just to be imaginative as possible with the thumbnail rough so it doens't look forced traced or stiff.
