Hi Everyone,

I am a long-time coin collector. One problem I had with coins was the proper long-term storage and preservation. To that end I created a company called Coin Armour. We provide archival storage bags for graded coins utilizing Intercept Technology, and we now have storage bags for graded comic books by CGC.

I know most is not all of you use Mylar bags. However, Intercept is different and works better. In short, Intercept is an active barrier that actually removes harmful gases, whereas Mylar only repels gases. The difference is important since Intercept can ensure that your comic inside the bag is free of harmful gases vs. trapping gases inside like Mylar. Pls check us out (the website is mine and it is ad free):

Intercept Technology was created in 1986 and has been used mostly in commercial and industrial applications to safeguard the transportation and storage of vital components and parts. More recently it has been used by coin collectors to prevent tarnish and corrosion on coins. The same harmful gases that can attack coins, hydrogen chloride and hydrogen sulfide, also deteriorate paper.

Our bags cost more than Mylar, but the protection is superior. Our bags also have the added benefit of UV protection. Most Mylar does not have this protection, except for Mylar D. Pls make sure you know what you are buying.

If you are like me, you have probably spent a significant amount of money on your collection...therefore it would only make sense to preserve your collection with a product that offers superior protection against harmful elements.

The website contains alot of information regarding Intercept, in addition to informative research;

If you have any questions, pls feel free to ask.
