Could this be the magic? I'm more excited to see Moore's work than I am Gaiman's! Either way, this has been decades in coming! I wonder if Moore will consent to write the introductions for the books that reprint his work?

Alan Moore seems to have zero interest in anything related to his old superhero comics, entertaining though most of them were. I don't think he wants anything to do with DC or Marvel, either.

Still, I might pick up a copy of this trade.

I remember when Eclipse Comics republished Moore's MARVELMAN as MIRACLEMAN back in the mid-1980s. It was interesting stuff, but I only have a few old copies in my long boxes. It would be nice to own the complete run if the price is reasonable.

Lawson,

It is a fantastic read, all together. I have the whole run and can not wait to see the finale of the final Ages.

Gaiman's material was superfluous.

Sure enough, Bleeding Cool reported that Alan Moore doesn't want his name on these MIRACLEMAN reprints. So in the solicitations, anyway, Marvel is crediting the early stories to "The Original Writer."

They should have gone with Alan Smithee.

Harlan Ellison used to use "Cordwainer Bird" when he feared a project was going to stink.
