I was asked by a fairly big name comic artist to write his story for him, for which I'd be paid, but, I'd have to not receive credit and would have to never tell anyone it was my work. He'd assume the writer credit.

I've said no to things like this, I have a hard enough time getting work through when artists give me credit, the world is odd. I've had 5 contracts in comics, 1 came through. I've had many more in books, and half of those fell through.

So my question is, what is your opinion of Ghost written work, and do you think it is ethical?

I don't, and, despite needing money, I don't think I can say yes. The artist has twice upped the money, but I don't think it is the money, it is my reluctance to do it.

If (say) a husband cheats on his wife, there are three people involved: the wife, the husband, and the lover. Even if the wife never finds out about the husband and the lover, something false has been introduced into the marriage, corrupting it from that point on.

In your situation, the wife is the readers, the husband is the big-name artist, and you're the lover.

Ness is not the lover, for the record.

I have no idea what just happened.

But I think it means, I've been screwed.

Okay, so maybe you are the lover. But without the "love," if you know what I'm saying.
