I agree 100%. I can't stand reading a Twitter feed where a modern creator is saying "We all need to say nice things about comics."
Why? If I don't like something, that means I want it changed. How can it change if all I do is compliment what I don't like?

I've seen too many messageboards where people are just agreeing with each other and there is no indication that anyone is capable of independent thought. Two things spur conversation on a messageboard.

1)News/Information
2)Controversy.

Controversy usually annoys someone into leaving a board, but it also stimulates people to be honest and share their opinion. News has to be interesting to the people reading it. If you lack either of those, people bet bored and leave.
