You'd know if you thought that there was more to life than what goes on on message forums.

Broaden your horizons, kiddo.

Hugging your teddy bear "JB" and talking to it is not a horizon, broad or otherwise.

Actually, I just thought there wasn't any more to your life.

Do you have a life, that's more fun than defending JB, really more fun for you? More satisfying, for you? If so why so compelled to post here and elsewhere defending Byrne? You sure spend a lot of time doing it.

Do you honestly believe that the very little time spent at an online forum construes "life"?

That's just very sad & shows very limited thinking on your parts, which is why I implied you should broaden your horizons.

And Joe, let me reiterate for you (and others)..."very little time" means just that. You say I spend a "lot of time"? Barely a blip on the radar.

I'll use my old Yoda reference..."And that is why you fail."

It's not the time you spend here measured in minutes. If a pie graph was created to show the content of your posts overall, 99.3% of that graph would be labelled "Embarrassingly Impotent John Byrne Defense".

It's not the amount of time, it's how that time is spent. Or in your case, squandered.

More cynical than limited, I should think.

As far as there being "more to life," my take on a lot of people here is that we all, while in the midst of doing more important things like work, take a few minutes here and there, to chime in here and see what's going on, try and make someone laugh with a post or two, then we get back to what it was we were doing.

You seem pretty obsessed with more or less one topic.

You realize (maybe not) that you ACTUALLY prove a point in MY favor? Does comicon.com encompass all of my time? (rhetoric, of course)

You are certainly correct in pointing out that HERE my focus is VERY narrow, but as I'm sure you are FULLY aware of (but are being purposefully obtuse) & as I mentioned before, my time here is barely a blip on the radar.

You guys continue to imply that I spend a "lot of time" here & that is where you guys fail in your implications. This is where you need to "broaden your horizons", but you won't.

I know that truth won't stop you. Can't do anything about that.

Perhaps. However, if you really want to play the "graph" game, try to put together how often it is that I'm reacting and/or responding to detrimental & derogatory posting proclivities.

(more rhetoric, way the by)
