Paul's wife has nothing to do with this forum or this thread. I can't believe you would stoop to so tawdry a level.
There is nothing dishonorable about bankruptcy per se. It's a nasty cheap shot to bring it up.
I can understand a rabid dog like Geedis descending to this level. But IvanJim?!
And all this because the guy's a fan of John Byrne?
You are confirming the very worst clichés about comics fans. This is despicable behavior. You're mad again because everybody isn't paying attention to you, yeah we GET it.

We spend so much time giving Paul shit about inconsistent and contradictory statements etc..., we have to hold ourselves to the same standards or we are the bunch of mindless detractors he claims.

If you're talking about an individual, there is no "we" or "bunch." We're not a single entity with a single line of thought. What another poster chooses to do or say is not a reflection on me or anyone else. While Paul certainly takes that tack, I do not.
I understand you're not trying to suggest we're all of the same mind and I don't intend to imply you are, but I think this is important to point out nonetheless, because to me your comments can be read that way. And I would disagree with such an assertion.

Paul's wife must be a good woman. She's obviously devoted her life to caring for the mentally ill.

That's one. It's in all of them. Seeing the truth is not one of your talents. Um you said I said the following, "There's something wrong with all of you guys". You're not making stuff up are you?

Paul himself has talked here about his bankruptcy -- he showed poor judgment with credit cards, he said -- and he told us he doesn't mind if other people talk about it. If he says it bothers him, I know that I'll never mention it again, and I'm sure most others would follow suit.
I don't know anything about Paul's wife. I assume she's a lovely woman. The words "hubba hubba" come to my mind (yeah, I was born old!).

Paul sure can be irritating, and he's obviously a weird guy with some problems, but I don't have any bad feelings for him on a personal level. I don't wish him ill. Hey! I'll cop to being a weird guy, but problems? Uh uh!
