The level of vitriol long ago grew ridiculous. There's no good reason for you to be beating on each other for weeks.

As much as I've enjoyed arguing with Paul W. Sondersted Jr. about Byrne in the past -- and no doubt will in the future -- it usually has been an exercise in harmless Internet razzing, with the understanding that (a) I don't particularly care about Byrne either way, (b) Paul is plenty happy to return fire and (c) I don't really wish Paul any ill will; he's like the brother-in-law with whom you argue politics at holidays.

Well, the IvanJim character's plate is full enough, it seems to me, with you & my buddy geedis (ducking!) giving him his due. I'm just poking my nose in because I know it bugs the IvanJim character that I'm not interacting with him directly.
