Good luck with that.

despite your protestations to the contrary I imagine that you've grown used to that.
Oh oh dear.

The quotes were used to define a translation of a statement you made. They are used to indicate that I was not discussing my own sentence.

Please, Ivan. You're not smarter than everyone else. If you were, you wouldn't be here busting your ass to appear smarter than everyone else. You are of course entitled to your delusions, just don't expect me to be subjected to them as well.

You poor lonely nerd. It's kind of sad that you spend so much time and effort on such a waste. So very sad.

But as I pointed out, the "translation" bore no relationship to what I said. To try and indicate that I had said what you indicated, while the substance of what I said bore no relationship to the way that you chose to interpret it, would be both entirely inaccurate and dishonest on your part. That's why I indicated that you must have made an error.

In truth, the statement you wrote seemed to be of a pattern with the way that you've routinely responded to my posts. Therefore it was more reasonable to presume that you were using your own words, instead of thinking that you were so illiterate that you had no inkling of what I actually wrote and would be so dishonest as to make something up from whole cloth.

Since you're now indicating that you are indeed that dishonest and that illiterate, the mistake isn't actually where you put the quotes. It's that you don't understand what you read, that you're incapable of honestly responding to things that disturb you, and that you're an immature person who prefers lying to dealing with your own issues.

As you'd understand if you knew how to grasp what you were reading, I've never claimed to be smarter than everyone else. I do, however, feel certain that I'm smarter than you. The only way that you could honestly interpret that statement to mean that I've indicated that I'm smarter than everyone else is to believe that you're as smart or smarter than everyone else. If this is what you're trying to infer, I believe that you owe an apology to the vast majority of the populace for simultaneously underestimating their intelligence and overestimating your own.

As for you being subjected to my thoughts, I'm sure that I can subject you to them as long as you choose to read them. I don't, however, make the claim that you'll understand them as you've frequently evidenced quite a bit of cognitive dysfunction.

While I admit that you are indeed a waste, I don't feel that I waste my time by correcting you. If nothing else you do serve as a negative example for anyone who comes across you and your writings. That you're sad about your existence as waste is appropriate, but it's not my concern. It is interesting, though, that you once again pull the issue of loneliness out of thin air. It does seem like a cry for help from you, but I doubt that you'll find the cure for your loneliness here.

Thank you for your good wishes. I seem to be having quite a bit of good luck with just that.

Now that said--Paul, had your daughter been a son...Would you have named him John Byrne Sondersted?
laugh LOL! Nope. I was leaning towards Isaac as a first name...after Isaac Asimov.

Nope. Since I work in a casino...and I'm evil...I went with the mark of 7 7 7...instead of, well...you know!

As a matter of fact, yes, Paul had one of his original Byrne commissions tattooed on the poor girl's back during her Byrne-tism ceremony.

If JB ever gets wind of it, he'll order Paul to dispose of the child. That's John Byrne's Batman, goddamnit!
Nah. Good 'ol JB offered to do the job hisself, but my wife nixed that idea. The three 7's were bad enough!

Mylar? Sacrilege! Get with the times! She's been CGC certified 9.6 (the three 7's kinda caused a lower grade...darnit!).

Why would that insult anyone? Has someone on this thread said that the question "how did you meet your wife" was insulting, per se?
