If I didn't enjoy this stuff, or think that it merited the amount of time I spend on it, I wouldn't be here. You're here while expressing the lack of value of being here. If there's one of us who doesn't value his time I'd have to say that the criteria is greater to suggest that it's you. I agree, this is probably the best use of your time.

(Translation For SlowJoe: that means Geedis is doing what I just described.) Translate this, fucktard. I already told you several times that I felt most of the time I spent here was worth it, for various reasons. One of them is making big headed people like you look foolish. By the way, thanks for all the help you've given me in that regard. You keep telling me I don't read your posts and don't understand them, yet you seem to be providing more proof of the reverse. Kind of the reason why trying to fool people by acting like the smartest person in the room doesn't work nearly as well as actually being the smartest person in the room. See my point now?

He won't. We know you think it's worth spending the amount of time you do on your waffle, Ivan. Such as responding to this: "Heh. At least my last 50 posts aren’t entirely on this thread", with four to five hundred words of pointless ranting. We're just mocking you for it. We point out how you post obsessively, and you respond with a post that missed the point entirely, and only reinforced the impression you were trying to counter. (By the way, the data loss has meant your spelling of "dilettante" has gone back to the way you spelled it initially, "dilettente". You might want to sneak back and edit it again. )

You keep telling me I don't read your posts and don't understand them, yet you seem to be providing more proof of the reverse. Kind of the reason why trying to fool people by acting like the smartest person in the room doesn't work nearly as well as actually being the smartest person in the room. See my point now? You asked me for a translation and I'm happy to provide one; You implied that there was something wrong with feeling a sense of satisfaction with posting to this thread and that there was something wrong with thinking it wasn't a waste of time. when I pointed out that you were posting just as I had, while implying that there was something wrong with posting, you became angry and resorted to obscenities. Then you tried to backtrack and say that you always felt fine about posting to these threads. By doing this you wanted anyone reading with a critical eye to forget that you had just implied the exact opposite, but you failed to create this false impression. Then you riffed up a variation of "it's not me, it's you", and followed that up with your standard accusation that I felt that I was the smartest person in the room, even though it's you that keeps saying so, not me. Translating what you say isn't really that much of a challenge, so if you want you can actually say what you mean instead of trying to be clever and elusive. You fail at both and you just look kind of silly once the translation has been provided.

Perhaps it isn't that I missed a point, but that you're unable to clearly make your point and that you miss the foolishness and irony in the parts of the point that actually do manage to straggle through your posts. Like that if you accuse me of posting obsessively, but you reply to every one of my posts, you are guilty of exactly what you're accusing me of, but you carry the additional burden of hypocrisy.

Imagine how bad this thread would be had it been learned by someone and posted here that John Byrne enjoys smothering kittens with his enormous ass.

Please show me where I said the evidence for your obsessiveness was that you reply to every post I make here? Another straw man from Ivan. As has been said already, you look obsessive and to lack perspective because of the particularly laboured nature of many of your responses, and because for the last couple of weeks you have done nothing on Comicon except post to this thread. Originally posted by IvanJim: A look at your last fifty postings would argue for a mono-focus which is appropriately described as an obsession. http://www.comicon.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=recent_user_posts;u=00002909
