Ha! Merely quoting you is trickery! All I did was put your comments together with earlier ones to remind readers of what you had previously said. I think it makes you look silly, but anyone is free to make their own assessment. I guess some people might buy the idea that you had quite a bit of respect and affection for someone while at the same time having no regard at all for their thinking, and considering them to post in an angry, ragged, intellectually vacant manner. I suspect most people would say you were guilty of a bit of a retcon of your view of Joe.

Wow, that’s exactly what I think of you. I doubt you've had much success with changing anyone's perception of Joe, but obviously a few people have changed their perception of you, thanks to how you’ve posted here.

Ivy, if you were having the affect you claim, you wouldn't need to keep trying so hard to convince everyone you were having it.

Ivy you are quite the prognosticator.

What's your next prediction?

Any stock tips?

IvanJim was wrong on at least one thing: Paul's story about how he met his wife didn't make for interesting reading, unless I missed a key detail.

Mind you, I met my own wife at work, so it's not like our story is more thrilling.

Of course, the way I met my prison wife -- now, that was quite the adventure ...

Why would that insult anyone? Has someone on this thread said that the question "how did you meet your wife" was insulting, per se?

Tempting as it is to say reread it (as was said to me, AFTER I said I already read it twice) Yes it was insinuated that it was insulting in the case of Paul. Already having read this thing twice I'm sorry I can't bring myself to slog through a third time to provide details and I can't recommend anyone else do so either. Sorry for the piss pour reply.

I bet it's Tuck, that would explain the nickname.

I notice that nobody accused HIM of fabricating a death in the family to win an argument about comics.
