Wein, on the other hand, obviously knows Moore. He edited WATCHMEN. Now he presumes to replace Moore as the writer on this story that Moore, not Wein, invented and wrote.
It may be "nothing personal" with the others, but not so with Wein.
Uh, while I don't think Wein's involvement in the creative process that produced WATCHMEN was that extensive, I seriously doubt that all he did as editor was sit there and say "That's great, Alan" to everything Moore came up with. As someone involved with the original story, I'd say Wein has far greater ethical standing to do a WATCHMEN prequel than the rest of the creators who signed up for the cash grab.
