Respectfully, I disagree.

Wein is ignoring the declared wishes of someone he personally worked with on the book, as compared to the other chuckle-heads, who may have been in grade school at the time. That does not make him more ethical in my view.

As for Wein's editor's title making him uniquely qualified to replace Moore as writer, hogwash. I've no idea who edited the manuscript of To Kill A Mockingbird before it was published. But I wouldn't find that anonymous editor any better suited to replace Harper Lee against her wishes as writer on To Kill A Mockingbird 2: Atticus In Law School.
