Due to popular demand, King Hell Press is bringing back the classic BRAT PACK T-SHIRT. These are the infamous DR. BLASPHEMY designs, with a big bold @#*! silk screened vertically on a black 100% cotton heavyweight T-shirt.
Shirts will be offered in February Diamond PREVIEWS for April ship. Find them in the APPAREL section.
Quantities will be limited and I'm not sure when we'll offer the design again, so get 'em while you can!

Hi Chris, I'm in the process of building a real King Hell website which will offer them via Paypal. Or you can just email me direct come April.
BUT, it actually benefits me if you decide to order through a DM retailer, even an on-line retailer. The way Diamond works these days is, if pre-orders for the shirt don't meet a minimum, Diamond will cancel. So this first blast of sales going through PREVIEWS is a good thing for me.

If there were a decent comic book store in my vicinity, I would be perfectly willing to give them my business. I am considering sending some orders to my decent comic book store back home, just a little iffy right now on how many extra steps that requires (me to email them to order Diamond to send them stuff to mail to me and I pay them). I have waited many long years for a Dr. Blasphemy T-shirt, and I will have one. Oh yes, it will be mine.

If you can't work something out with a trusted comics shoppe, there are online stores like TalesofWonder.com or Mail Order Comics that should be able to handle your business and which (I'm pretty sure) place their orders through Diamond, thus providng the support Mr. V's looking for.

Alexander, Diamond only wants to list Medium, Large and X-Large sizes in the catalog these days, so that's what I print ordered.
But I've already got a bunch of personal requests for the bigger sizes. On the next run I'll try and do a few XXL and XXXL and offer them on my website.

BRAT PACK GN is a revised version of the original 5 issue run.
THE MAXIMORTAL is a stand alone GN but uses some of the same characters.

If memory serves, it happened back in 7th grade, and involved the same teacher who kept me from being on the school newspaper because I, and I’m quoting here, “lack the commitment to write seriously.” Obviously, I’d never read Rick Veitch’s Brat Pack at the time–and I still haven’t, now that I think of it–but it’s a great iconic design on its own. So I’m wearing it one day, and my teacher informs me that I’m not allowed to wear t-shirts with offensive language on them, and I respond by pointing out that there is no offensive language on my t-shirt, and in fact there’s no language at all, and furthermore, that that’s pretty much the point of said design to begin with.
“Yes,” she said, “But we all know what it means.”
I’m not sure teaching was the right career for her."

It is. Of course I disagree with Rick that his color work for Epic was awesome in itself. Just flipping through Shiny Beasts, "Ghosts in the Machine", "Landmass", "Conquest of the Banana Planet" and "The Everlasting Tag" had better coloring even in black-and-white than almost any comic before or since. And the 'money shot' of "Love Doesn't Last Forever" is even more impressive than in the original printing, which boggles the mind.

Stanley, Any threads a good one to evangelize King Hell books! In fact it allows me to remind everyone that Diamond will be relisting SHINY BEASTS and ABRAXAS AND THE EARTHMAN along with the new HEARTBURST AND OTHER PLEASURES in this month's PREVIEWS.
Chris, Thanks for the kudos. I don't think I've ever dissed my airbrush work. It's just that the Epic reproduction fell short of what I was trying to do with color on the originals. One of the great things about these new editions is I am able to scan everything myself, adjust it in Photoshop and print on nice glossy stock so the bright palette I was using really (finally!) comes to life.
